ASRS v1.1, ASRS-5 and DSM-5 are different
DSM-5 describes diagnostic criteria; it is not the name of this quiz. ASRS v1.1 and ASRS-5 are different screening instruments, with different questions and scoring. This page uses ASRS v1.1, not ASRS-5. See the official ASRS-5 information for that instrument.
What your result can tell you
The screener counts responses in the shaded areas. For the first three items, Sometimes, Often and Very Often count; for the last three, Often and Very Often count. Four or more is a screening threshold for discussing further evaluation. It is not a percentage chance of ADHD or a severity score.
A result below the threshold does not rule out ADHD or other difficulties. If you have concerns about everyday functioning, you can discuss them with a qualified healthcare professional regardless of this result.
Prepare for a useful conversation
You can copy or print a summary of your responses. Consider bringing concrete examples of difficulties, when they started and where they occur. A clinician considers history, functioning across settings and other possible explanations; an online score cannot replace that process.
