Free ADHD Brain-Dump Planner
Get the list out. Make today’s plan smaller.
When everything feels equally urgent, start by putting it somewhere visible. Write one thought per line, choose up to three priorities, and check their estimated time against the time you actually have.

Write one item per line
Capture tasks, reminders, and loose ends without organizing them first. This is a place to see the list, not a demand to finish every item.
Choose up to three priorities
Select the items that deserve attention now. One or two is enough. The unselected items remain parked; the planner does not use AI to rank your life.
Check time, then save
Set your available time and estimate each selected item. If the total does not fit, shrink an item or choose fewer. Save the plan to resume it in this browser.
A smaller plan, in practice
- BeforeInbox, groceries, invoices, laundry, project, appointment…
- A workable versionChoose: send the invoice, order essentials, draft one project section. Park the rest.
- BeforeThree priorities that need four hours; one hour available
- A workable versionReduce to one finishable priority, or shrink the scope before committing.
- BeforeEverything on the list feels like a promise for today
- A workable versionSeparate what you captured from what you chose. A parked item is not a commitment for today.
Capture is not commitment.
A brain dump can hold more than today can hold. Getting a thought onto the list does not mean it must become a task, and choosing a Top 3 does not mean three is a required target. Pick fewer when your available time or capacity calls for it.
The time comparison adds the estimates you choose. It does not predict how long your work will take or automatically reserve travel, transitions, or breaks. Include those demands when deciding how much time you actually have. If estimates keep missing reality, try the time-planning calculators linked from the tools directory.
Your saved Brain-Dump result includes the parked list so you can return to it in this browser. The optional app handoff uses the selected Top 3, not the whole dump. If one chosen item is still hard to enter, use the First-Step Planner to identify its first visible action.
Your plans, your choice
Unsaved edits stay in the current page. Choose Save to keep one result per workflow in this browser; saving again replaces that workflow’s previous result, not your other plans. There is no account or automatic cloud sync. Browser storage is not a secure vault: avoid sensitive information on shared devices.
Copy and Print use the result you choose. Only an explicit app-handoff action sends the selected plan details to Mind Vortex for app import. You can use the web planner without that step.
Practical organization tools, not ADHD tests, diagnosis, or treatment. No outcome is guaranteed.
Questions before you start
Will this tool sort or prioritize my list automatically?
No. It separates your lines into items, but you choose the priorities and estimates. It does not send the list to an AI service, infer urgency, or make decisions on your behalf.
Do I have to choose exactly three tasks?
No. Choose one, two, or three. The limit keeps the chosen list small; it is not a scientifically prescribed number or a productivity quota.
Will saving replace my First-Step plan?
No. Each workflow keeps its own most recently saved result in this browser. Saving a new Brain-Dump result replaces the previous Brain-Dump result only. It does not create a history of every version.
What happens to items I do not select?
They remain in the parking list and are retained in the saved browser plan. They are not included in the optional app handoff’s selected Top 3. You can revisit the full saved dump here.
