Free ADHD Cleaning Checklist Builder
One room. A time boundary. A visible stopping point.
Choose a room, edit the example tasks and give yourself a realistic time budget. The checklist separates tasks that fit from tasks you can leave for another time.
Use the free plannerHow to use this planner
Choose a small area
Pick a room and replace the example tasks with actions that fit your space.
Set your budget
Include time to put supplies away. Adjust each estimate and uncheck irrelevant tasks.
Use the short list
Work through the tasks that fit, then stop or review what remains.
A smaller plan, in practice
- BeforeTen minutes, including two to finish.
- A workable versionBedroom examples: collect rubbish (2), gather clothes (3), leave three minutes spare.
- BeforeOnly a desk corner needs clearing.
- A workable versionUncheck the other tasks and rewrite one row for that corner.
- BeforeA task needs longer than the whole session.
- A workable versionSplit it into a smaller visible action; do not hide the extra time.
The budget is a boundary, not a speed test.
The planner checks selected tasks in row order. A task that does not fit goes to the later list; a shorter task below it may still fit. Edit the rows if a different action should come first.
Preset times are editable examples. They are not cleaning standards or promises. This checklist does not assess hazards or explain how to use cleaning products.

Questions before you start
Can I change the tasks?
Yes. Edit any row and its minutes, or uncheck it. Switching rooms replaces the examples.
What if nothing fits?
Choose a smaller action or adjust the available time. The planner shows an empty-fit message.
Does this run a timer?
No. It creates a checklist. Set a timer separately if you want one.
Are ticked tasks saved?
No. The checklist and ticks disappear on reload. Print or copy the plan before leaving.
